Wineries caught in massive scam

LEADING Australian wineries are among dozens of suppliers stung in an alleged $10 million scam, with police uncovering a "motherload" of fraudulently-obtained wine.

Police swooped on a warehouse in Silverwater - the fifth raid this week - finding $5 million in wine, reported The Daily Telegraph

Police said at least 60 Australian companies hade been caught in the sting. Warehouses in Fairfield, Wetherill Park, Alexandria and Condell Park were also raided.
